Will you be sending a formal invitation?

​Yes! Our invitations are almost ready! We hope to be sending out the invitations within the first few weeks of January 2014. If you have moved, please let us know what postal address to send your invitation to.

 

I'm travelling from overseas. How early should I be looking at flights?

We recommend researching as early on as possible as June is in the summer/school holiday season. This will also help towards budgeting for the trip. Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines and Emirates are some of the airlines that fly to the UK with Singapore Airlines offering direct flight options.

 

Where is the wedding venue?

​The wedding will be held in Kingscote Barn, a 17th Century Cotswold stone barn set in a secluded valley looking out over rolling fields, in Tetbury of Gloucestershire, UK, approx. 2.5 hrs from London. Feel free to check out the website www.kingscotebarn.co.uk

 

We cannot emphasise enough in allowing for ample time to get there as country roads can be quite tricky.

What time do I need to be there?

​Please arrive by 2.30pm to be seated for the wedding ceremony.

 

Will I need accommodation?​

We really do recommend staying overnight at one of the nearby accommodation as festivities will be going on late into the night. Plus, Cotswolds is also a really lovely scenic area worth making a day or weekend break out of. Do contact us if you require some suggestions. 

 

For overseas guests, if you are arriving in UK a few days before the wedding,  you may wish to head directly to Tetbury or one of the nearby towns in Gloucestershire until after the wedding. And then carry on yout trip to London or other parts of the UK. 

We recommend staying in a self catering B&B or cottage for the budget conscious .  Alternatively, you may wish to base yourself in London and travel to Tetbury on the wedding day with an overnight stay and then return back to London.

Do I need to prebook a taxi at the end of the night?

Most certainly! Your safety is of utmost importance to us, therefore drinking and driving is a definite NO NO! Also, due to the secluded area of the venue, it is impossible to hail or ring for a taxi at that time of the night.

​Is there carpark facilities at the venue?

​Yes there is adequate carparking available if you are intending to drive to the venue. 

 

What is the Dress Code?

​Formal attire only! Spare comfortable footwear for dancing strongly encouraged :)

 

What if I have dietary requirements?

​We are mindful that not one menu fits all. Therefore, we will ensure that special dietary requirements will be met as best as possible so you will not be hungry and be able to enjoy yourselves. Accompanying our formal invitation to come will include an RSVP which will also give you the opportunity to indicate if you have special dietary requirements. 

 

Do I need to RSVP?

​Absolutely PLEASE! This will help us in our planning and ensure that your menu choices for the wedding reception are taken care of.

Your RSVP will indicate the number of seats reserved for you. If you would like to bring a plus one, please check with us.
